Volume Shocker: Bharati Shipyard shoots up 11%

Shares of a shipbuilding firm Bharati Shipyard shot up nearly 11 percent to touch an intraday high of Rs 46.95 on Tuesday.

The stock gained for the second consecutive session today.

At 13:50 hours IST, shares went up 5.66 percent to Rs 44.80 amid heavy volumes on Bombay Stock Exchange.
 
Trading volumes increased 255 percent to 80,324 equity shares as against five-day average of 22,615 shares.
 
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 87.00 and 52-week low Rs 36.00 on 22 March, 2012 and 13 March, 2013, respectively.
 
Currently, it is trading 48.51% below its 52-week high and 24.44% above its 52-week low.
 
Market capitalisation of the company currently stands at Rs 172.27 crore.
