Manishi Raychaudhuri of BNP Paribas Securities India prefers Persistent Systems, IndusInd Bank and Crompton Greaves.

Manishi Raychaudhuri of BNP Paribas Securities India told CNBC-TV18, "For midcaps investors need to be careful about corporate disclosures, management quality etc.  Persistent Systems in IT or  IRB Infrastructure and  Crompton Greaves in the industrial space and possibly some of the private sector banks like  IndusInd Bank in the financial space. So, those are some of the interesting midcap names in our model portfolio."

At 13:53 hrs Persistent Systems was quoting at Rs 1,107.20, up Rs 17.90, or 1.64 percent.

The share touched its 52-week high Rs 1,220 and 52-week low Rs 477 on 06 March, 2014 and 03 July, 2013, respectively.
