Luxembourg-based investment fund PCV Lux SCA has picked up 1.5 percent stake in Persistent Systems on Friday.
The fund house purchased 2,34,300 equity shares of the company at Rs 963.02 apiece on the National Stock Exchange and 3,66,009 shares at Rs 964.91 on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Both block deals were worth Rs 58 crore.
Meanwhile, the Pune-based IT services company reported 29.5 percent growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 67.19 crore for the quarter ended March 31 on demand in software products development and technology services. Consolidated revenue grew 33.8 percent year-on-year to Rs 446.74 crore in the January-March quarter.
On Friday, the stock closed at Rs 967.15, up 0.50 percent on the BSE. Market capitalisation of the company currently stands at Rs 3,868.60 crore.
