CK Narayan of Growth Avenues is of the view that one may buy Hindalco Industries at around Rs 165.
CK Narayan of Growth Avenues told CNBC-TV18, "The short side might have run out in the very sharp fall that you had in the last four days. Nobody is really looking to go short in this market. It doesn't really make too much sense to go short because post this Budget you can see that there is really nothing in it which would make large players like FIIs or domestic funds or even large HNI people come out and sell their goods. There might be some light amount of profit taking but without larger players really selling shorts are not really enabled."
He further added, "What one should really look at is, still continue to play the market from the long side but the big fall that we have had really tempers the kind of moves that we can expect, so we should be pretty selective. Within that I would think stocks which are trading still at an all-time high and which have not really shown any inclination to pullback – one of the thing which comes to my mind is Havells India."
" Havells India is trading at about Rs 1215-1220 and it is at an all-time high. That's the stock where I think the pedigree is good. The appreciation among all sorts of players is very favourable, which can make further ground in the coming week," Narayan said.
He further said, "Another stock where good uptrends have occurred, but it got hit back a little is Hindalco Industries where there are some very definite improvements. I saw some favourable market reports coming out from large broking houses. It fell back from about Rs 185-187 to about Rs 165. I think in the range of about Rs 165 I would look to buy into this particular stock with an expectation of a decent return across the next week."
