Century Textiles  has posted a net loss of Rs 63.6 crore in Q3FY15 (October-December quarter) against the profit of Rs 1.6 crore, in the same quarter last year.

The operating margin was down 560 bps at 4.7 percent versus 10.3 percent.

The EBITDA of the company was also down by 48.7 percent at Rs 86 crore versus Rs 168 crore.

However, the total income jumped by 12.8 percent to Rs 1,848 crore versus Rs 1,639 crore.

The company has tax writeback of Rs 40 crore.

At 13:46 hrs Century Textiles and Industries was quoting at Rs 540.95, down Rs 16.05, or 2.88 percent on the BSE.
