Kansai Nerolac Paints Q2 net up 9.07% to Rs 51.7 crore

Kansai Nerolac Paints today reported 9.07 percent increase in net profit at Rs 51.7 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 47.4 crore in the same period last year.

Kansai Nerolac's net sales during the quarter under review stood at Rs 781 crore, an increase of 14.95 percent as compared to Rs 679.4 crore in the corresponding period of previous year, the company said in a statement.

Overall expenses during the quarter stood at Rs 716.1 crore, up 15.59 percent as against Rs 619.5 crore in the same quarter last year.
