Krish Subramanium of Asit C Mehta Investment is of the view that one may pick Bharat Petroleum Corporation within the OMC space.

Krish Subramanium of Asit C Mehta Investment told CNBC-TV18, "In Bharat Petroleum Corporation  (BPCL) we are seeing some sort of correction and considering the fact that the rupee shows strength and also the fact that crude is also softening a bit, BPCL would be my prime pick. But  Reliance Industries is the one where one has to keep an eye on because Rs 950 has been a hurdle and if it would consolidate above that we could see a good run-up from the current levels but at least now probably I will still keep away from it but that is one clearly a counter which one has to keep a close watch on."

At 14:11 hrs Bharat Petroleum Corporation was quoting at Rs 439, down Rs 10.30, or 2.29 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 450 and an intraday low of Rs 438.25.

The share touched its 52-week high Rs 468.80 and 52-week low Rs 256 on 31 March, 2014 and 06 August, 2013, respectively. Currently, it is trading 6.36 percent below its 52-week high and 71.48 percent above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 31,743.40 crore.
