Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, " Infosys is bottoming out after a small correction. It has normal pattern of a rally, a correction and the resumption of the rally. So, it worth buying into for short-term traders as well as for somebody who wants to make an investment."

At 14:01 hrs Infosys was quoting at Rs 3,179.95, down Rs 39.85, or 1.24 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 3,231.45 and an intraday low of Rs 3,174.

The share touched its 52-week high Rs 3,847.20 and 52-week low Rs 2,290 on 03 March, 2014 and 02 May, 2013, respectively. Currently, it is trading 17.34 percent below its 52-week high and 38.86 percent above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 182,604.23 crore.
